Selected MTM compositions were included on albums by the jazz fusion group Progger, and rock group McMeta. While he continues to create music for a plethora of original ensembles, Matthew also commits to scoring a variety of shorts. His music is highly engaging and the range of sounds he produces is unlike anything happening in mainstream music.

Matthew has served in various leadership roles including Music Director of Sauce The Band and other cover band operations.

MTM has a unique perspective on electric guitar and continues to advance the knowledge of the instrument through his various students. In addition to maintaining a home studio, Matthew has held numerous teaching positions including Guitar Ensemble Instructor at St. Stephens School in Austin, Tx.
